Choosing wall panels

Slat panels give a room texture and shadow without the cost or mess of custom joinery. They suit feature walls, ceilings, bedheads and exterior cladding.

Indoor or outdoor

Indoor and outdoor panels are not interchangeable. Outdoor panels are made to handle UV, rain and temperature movement; indoor panels used outside will fade and warp. Check the panel is rated for where you intend to use it — ask us if you are unsure.

Planning your coverage

Measure the full wall area and allow for offcuts around windows, doors and power points. Panels are usually installed running floor to ceiling for the cleanest result, so plan the panel direction before you order.

Fixing

• Fixed to timber battens, or direct to a flat, sound substrate
• Cut with standard timber tools — a fine-tooth blade gives the cleanest edge
• End trims and corner profiles finish exposed edges neatly
• Behind a TV or a bedhead, plan cable routes before the panels go up

Delivery and collection

We deliver to Sydney suburbs only. Panels are long and bulky, so delivery availability can vary by postcode. Collection from our Hornsby showroom is available.

We supply panels on their own, or supply and install them as part of a home renovation. Come and see the profiles and finishes in person before you decide.
